ADSCO Manufacturing

Relaunch an industrial manufacturer in their third century of continual operation

Background

Originally founded in 1877, the American District Steam Corporation, or ADSCO, had been purchased by a new owner who wanted to breathe new life into what had become a stagnant business. Once well known but having not changed anything in the last several decades, we were faced with the challenge of helping to reintroduce the brand to a younger, faster industry that had higher expectations.

ReBrand

Re-engineering an Entire Identity

The first step was a complete audit and overhaul of the entire brand. We researched competitors, reviewed historic documents of the company’s history, and uncovered the areas that differentiated them.

Our team worked with the new owner and the client’s own consultant to develop a new positioning and tagline. Following this, we executed a number of logo options before settling on the final visual identity and brand guidelines.

Armed with this, we built a robust, highly functional, product-driven website. The new site is complete with a series of high fidelity 3D product renderings, specification charts, explainer videos, downloadable assets, and animations to create a rich, engaging user experience.
