Background
The Lovin’ Cup is a “scene” as it were. It is a place that means different things to different people. It could be your favorite place to grab a sammich and a beer. It could be your favorite spot to see original live jazz. A spot to try a new wine. A spot where you unveil a talent that no one knew you had. If you’re getting the impression Lovin’ Cup is an all-encompassing, sensory experience, you’re right!
Our relationship with Lovin’ Cup goes way back to the first days they swung their doors open back in 2007. Since then we have worked on many projects that have perpetuated the vibe that Lovin’ Cup evokes. When they came to us in 2016 to talk about what the possibilities were for a more robust and adaptable website, we couldn’t wait to start.
How We Helped
We knew the new website needed to be as fresh and creative as the venue itself so we designed and developed a custom website using a color palette derived from the restaurant’s interior, and built in a number of interactive, online elements users would find useful.
We wanted to make sure the Cup’s employees could make edits quickly, to keep up with the ever-rotating drink and food offerings and active special events calendar. We made sure the website was responsive so customers can check what’s on tap or who’s on stage from anywhere. Capturing the many sides of the We snapped a few fun photos of the Lovin’ Cup crew, and were ready to go.
Next, we focused on the graphic design for in-restaurant menus, truck wrap, take-out bags, special event flyers and apparel.
As Lovin’ Cup grew, so did their catering business. We designed and developed a dedicated catering website, integrating with Shopify to ensure a seamless order and checkout process.
